Daddy is a law-breaker (don't tell Uncle Steve-O) and lit up some fireworks to celebrate the new year. Madelyn did not like them ... at all.
Merry Christmas 2013
We had a wonderful Christmas. Lots of nice surprises - our favorites were Madelyn's new baby and stroller, Reece's Plex and Brobee, and our mini trampoline.
Christmas Eve
We enjoyed Christmas Eve festivities at our home this year. There was lots of family, food, singing, dancing, and of course fun.
By the end of the night we were pretty tuckered so no one stayed up to wait for Santa.

The things I do in my downtime
I am in a robot phase - I like to make them out of blocks right now.
I like playing games and watching videos on the computer
- my favorite games are Minion Rush, Plex's Robot Creation Station
my favorite videos are anything with Yo Gabba Gabba, letters, and numbers
(I can sing my ABCs in German thanks to YouTube)
Happy Halloween
Reece was a Minion for Halloween. His teacher said he did not want to take his Minion hat off the entire day. Madelyn was a ladybug by day (that's her in the front of the red buggy) and an Evil Minion by night.
Both enjoyed all of the day's festivities.

Reece's Field Trip
My class took a field trip to Old McDonald's Farm - my favorite area was the giant sand pile
(same thing I loved last time we were there [2010]).

Madelyn - 18 Months
There is no doubt ... I am a BIG girl (and super cute ; - ). My clothes are usually a 3T these days (Mom has to hem my pants a bit). I wear an 8 EXTRA wide shoe (Mom had hoped I would not have this same shoe sizing issue that Reece had - extra wide shoes do NOT come in a variety of styles and Mom and I both LOVE shoes).

Abby Shoes
Mom bought me a spare pair of shoes to keep in my backpack but they are my new faves (my Abby Shoes). They are a little on the ugly side depending on who you ask but I show them off to anyone who will look and listen.
Thriller
This is Madelyn's new friend, Mummy. At first she was content to wear her glasses and dance with him over and over (AND OVER) again. But then she started taking him everywhere and carry him around like a baby doll ... unfortunately he has since broken - probably not intended to be manhandled by an 18mo old (sad that we will not have anymore 'Mummy' videos but at least Mom and Dad will stop hearing 'Thriller' in their sleep).
I like bugs
That is one enormous beetle! I really like bugs which creeps Mom out (except for Roly-Polys [my favorite]).
