Introducing Madelyn

Happy Easter and welcome my new baby sister, Madelyn.

Madelyn was nearly born in the car - she arrived 6 minutes after we got to the hospital. She is just a tiny bit smaller than I was and has a little less hair. She looks more like Daddy than I do (except for the chin).

Hello

Mom and I made a trip to the Children's Museum - she says these phone booth things won't be around by the time I get older.

Early Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood had their annual Easter festival - this year they had an egg hunt, games, and bounce houses. Mom and Dad weren't sure if I would understand the concept of gathering the eggs this year but they were wrong. I could hardly wait to put the eggs in my basket.

(fishing - not sure what this has to do with Easter? [Dad says he'll have to teach me a thing or two about fishing])

I've really started to enjoy our local jump-house place (I call it the bowling alley).

Is it Play or Nap Time

Sometimes I bring toys to bed for nap time (after Mom leaves of course).

Giraffes

We've really enjoyed our zoo membership this past year. There is always something new to see and/or do. On this trip we fed the giraffes. It was really cool to get so close to them. I never successfully fed them myself (they would not catch the lettuce) but they took the lettuce right out of Mommy and Daddy's hands.

(the zoo makes me sleepy though)
